Abstract
ALSO DISCUSSED ARE REASONS FOR EXCLUDING DATA ON RESPONDENT RECALL FOR OTHERS. THIS SURVEY WAS DESIGNED TO EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TWO AREA-BASED CRIME PREVENTION PROGRAMS WITHIN THE CITY - A STREET LIGHTING PROGRAM IN THE GHETTO SECTION OF NORTHEAST PORTLAND AND AN ANTI-BURGLARY PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY CRIME PREVENTION BUREAU.
