Abstract
The workshop is presented in seven modules, each of which discusses Target Population, Space Requirements, Performance Objectives and Evaluation Procedures: Module 1, Introduction; Module 2, Background on Juvenile Privatization; Module 3, Issues in Privatization; Module 4, The Request for Proposal; Module 5, The Contract and Contract Negotiations; Module 6, Monitoring; and Module 7, Summary. The trainer’s guide includes suggestions on how to use training aids, how to present a topic to the class and how to prepare for the workshop. Suggestions are presented in the following categories: Basic Training Tips, Trainer Preparation, Large Group Discussion, Lecture, Answering Questions, Small Group Discussion, Presentation, Rapport, Using Your Voice, Pace and Fillers, Eye Contact, Gestures, Training Aids, Overheads, Flip Charts and Written Exercises.
