National Victim Assistance Academy: Building and Managing Volunteer Programs

This 3-week training will focus on the importance of volunteers; how to recruit, screen, onboard, and retain them; and how to determine the costs associated with managing volunteers. CEUs will be awarded for those who complete all requirements. The schedule for this training is as follows:

• Introductory Week: The Importance of Volunteerism, August 2–6, no webinar.
• Week 1: Finding the Right Volunteers, August 9–13, webinar on August 12.
• Week 2: Onboarding and Retaining Volunteers, August 16–20, webinar on August 19.

All webinars are conducted on Thursdays from 11:30 a.m.–12:45 p.m. e.t.
