Administration on Aging (AoA)
The Administration on Aging (AoA) works to help elderly individuals maintain their dignity and independence in their homes and communities through comprehensive, coordinated, and cost effective systems of long-term care, and livable communities across the United States.

Elder Justice Coordinating Council (EJCC)
EJCC coordinates activities related to elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation across the federal government. EJCC's Elder Justice Interagency Working Group brings together federal officials responsible for carrying out elder justice activities including elder abuse prevention, research, grant and program funding, and prosecution.

Fraud Awareness Special Feature
The Fraud Awareness Special Feature contains links to publications and resources that focus on the prevention of and enforcement efforts aimed at stopping fraudulent activities.

Late Life Domestic Violence

National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA)
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, NCEA serves as a national resource center dedicated to the prevention of elder mistreatment. The NCEA site contains state resources, FAQs, and publications, as well as statistics relating to elder abuse.

National Elder Fraud Hotline
Created by the Office for Victims of Crime, this free hotline – 833–FRAUD–11 – is for people to report fraud against anyone age 60 or older.

National Institute on Aging (NIA)
The NIA, which is one of the Institutes and Centers of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), leads a broad scientific effort to understand the nature of aging and to extend the healthy, active years of life.

National Long-Term Care Ombudsman Resource Center
Funded by the Administration on Aging, the National Long-Term Care Ombudsman Resource Center provides support, technical assistance, and training to State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Programs and their statewide networks of regional (local) programs. The Center works to improve the quality of life and care of the residents in long-term care facilities.
