This report describes the upgrades in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Crime laboratory under a Federal grant, including its achievements in reducing its backlog of DNA sample analysis.
Abstract
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement collected, analyzed, and entered 43,831 DNA samples into CODIS during the grant period. Additional funding was used to purchase equipment, laboratory supplies, and pay consultant fees.
