This guide provides information on the resources available from the U.S. Justice Department's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), including an annotated listing of all publications issued during 2001 and 2002 categorized by topic.

Abstract

OJJDP is the primary Federal agency responsible for addressing the issues related to juvenile crime and delinquency, as well as the problems of abused, neglected, missing, and exploited children. In addition to its information-dissemination activities, OJJDP supports research and evaluation efforts, statistical studies, and demonstration programs. It provides technical assistance training and administers formula, block, and discretionary grant programs. The subject areas for the annotated publication listings in this guide are child protection, corrections, courts, delinquency prevention, gangs, general resources, substance abuse, and violence and victimization. This guide also lists all titles published to date in OJJDP's special Bulletin series, along with a title index for other OJJDP publications.
