STUDY OF 20 PAROLEES REVEALED THAT ALTHOUGH SPORTS DOMINATED ORGANIZED RECREATION IN PRISON, PAROLEE RECREATION PURSUITS WERE PASSIVE AND SEDENTARY.
Abstract
PRISON AND PAROLEE RECREATION PATTERNS REFLECTED THE PAROLEES' CONCEPTS AND SKILLS DEVELOPED PRIOR TO IMPRISONMENT. THE CARRY-OVER VALUE OF PRISON RECREATION ACTIVITIES WAS NOT AS STRONG AS THE CARRY-OVER VALUE OF PRE-PRISON RECREATION PURSUITS. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
