Annotation

This article suggests some approaches for teaching comparative criminal justice to undergraduates.

Abstract

Methods of teaching comparative criminal justice (involving only European countries) can include the historical approach, institutional approach, political-legal or social-philosophical approach, and the analytical-problems approach. The best way to teach a comparative criminal justice course is to synthesize the significant benefits derived from each approach. Materials that could be used with each approach are cited, and 53 references are included.
