Abstract
UNLESS THE COMMUNITY RESPONSE TO THE DRINKING-DRIVER PROBLEM IS MORE SUPPORTIVE OF THE POLICE, STRICTER LAWS, STIFFER PENALTIES, AND MORE SOPHISTICATED TESTING DEVICES WILL BE OF NO AVAIL. THE ARTICLE SUGGESTS COMMUNITY AND INTERAGENCY COOPERATION TO CONTROL THE ALCOHOL PROBLEM.
