The study compared university students' perceptions of police officers in New Zealand with officers' self-perceptions and the officers' perceptions of how the universtiy students would perceive them.
Abstract
The results show that the police officers' self-perceptions were more positive than the students' perception of them. However, the police officers had rather accurate ideas about how they were perceived by the university students. (Publisher abstract)
