THE AUTHOR CONCLUDES THAT THE USE OF INTEGRATED AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE SYSTEMS FOR POLICE COMMUNICATIONS OFFER OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND SUBSTANTIAL STAFF SAVINGS, PARTICULARLY WHERE A LARGE NUMBER OF POLICE PREMISES CAN BE INCLUDED IN ONE SYSTEM.
