AUTHOR PROPOSES AND BRIEFLY OUTLINES A TOTAL CAREER PLANNING PACKAGE FOR THOSE STUDENTS WITH AN APTITUDE AND ATTITUDE FOR LONG RANGE CAREER DEVELOPMENT IN SECURITY WORK.
Abstract
THE PROGRAM SUGGESTED CONSISTS OF FIVE YEARS OF FORMAL EDUCATION AND FIVE YEARS OF INTERNSHIP. PARTICIPANTS ARE SELECTED FROM QUALIFIED CANDIDATES, USUALLY AFTER THE SECOND YEAR OF ACADEMIC STUDY, AND GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH VARIOUS BUSINESSES OR AGENCIES REGARDING EMPLOYMENT AFTER GRADUATION. DURING THE REMAINING THREE YEARS OF SCHOOLING, THE FUTURE EMPLOYER PAYS FOR THE EDUCATIONAL COSTS. ADVANTAGES TO THIS ARRANGEMENT ARE EXPLAINED. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
