Abstract
THE AUTHOR DISCUSSES PLANNING, PROMOTING, AND IMPLEMENTING THE PROGRAM AND EXPLAINS SOME OF THE PROGRAM'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS BY CITING STATE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS STATISTICS. SHE CONCLUDES THAT THE PROBATION SUBSIDY PROGRAM HAS BEEN AND SHOULD CONTINUE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN ITS GOALS OF REDUCING COMMITMENTS, SAVING TAXPAYERS' MONEY, AND OFFERING A VIABLE ALTERNATIVE TO INCARCERATION FOR SELECTED OFFENDERS....EB
