The use of Carkhuff's Systematic Human Relations Training Model was implemented as an overall treatment paradigm in a 90-day residential community-based treatment program for Adolescent Offenders.
Abstract
This article reviews the model as a viable means for treating adolescent offenders and facilitating change of behavior with the goal of reintegrating them into a less structured, more independent living situation. Results of a brief follow-up on graduates of the program are discussed along with the overall effectiveness of the program. (Publisher abstract)
