Abstract
ILLINOIS, NEW YORK, COLORADO, PENNSYLVANIA, WISCONSIN, NEW JERSEY, INDIANA, AND MISSOURI ARE THE STATES EXAMINED REGARDING THE FORMATION AND OPERATION OF THEIR CHILDREN'S COURT SYSTEMS IN THE EARLY 1900'S. WITHIN EACH OF THE STATES, THE JUVENILE COURT SYSTEMS OF SPECIFIC LARGE CITIES ARE EXAMINED.
