Abstract
THE DEVELOPMENT OF CIVILIANIZATION IN THE BIRTISH POLICE FORCE IS TRACED, AND SOME OF THE PROBLEMS CONNECTED WITH ITS IMPLEMENTATION ARE HIGHLIGHTED. THE AUTHOR'S EXAMINATION OF FUTURE TRENDS CENTERS ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NATIONAL TRAFFIC WARDEN SERVICE AND ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENTS IN THE POLICE SERVICE. A BIBLIOGRAPHY IS PROVIDED.
