Abstract
THREE OF THE PROGRAMS DEAL EXCLUSIVELY WITH THE REHABILITATION, TRAINING AND JOB PLACEMENT OF ALLEGED OR CONVICTED LAW-VIOLATORS. ONE PROGRAM HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN POLICE STUDIES AND YOUTH ACTIVITIES. IN FOUR CASES, THE MAJOR THRUST HAS BEEN TO STIMULATE CITIZEN ACTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF LOCAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEMS THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY CAMPAIGNS. AUTHOR ABSTRACT
