PROCEDURES ARE OUTLINED, WITH ACCOMPANYING ILLUSTRATIONS, FOR A BEAT REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM, A POSTAL CARRIER PROGRAM, A SECRET WITNESS PROGRAM, TENANT PATROLS, MOBILE PATROLS, A HELPING HAND PROGRAM, AND A COMMUNITY RADIO WATCH. THE MATERIALS CONTAINED IN THE PACKAGE INCLUDE NEWSPAPER ARTICLES, OUTLINES OF SPECIFIC STEPS TO TAKE IN CONDUCTING COMMUNITY CRIME PREVENTION PROGRAMS, AND STUDIES OR PAPER DESCRIBING CRIME PREVENTION EFFORTS IN VARIOUS GEOGRAPHIC AREAS.
