Instructions accompany this inventory designed to document the services currently available within a community to troubled children and their families.
Abstract
The inventory focuses on three populations of children: young children at risk of developing emotional and/or behavioral problems due to environmental, physical, or psychological stressors; youth under age 21 who experience emotional and/or behavioral problems and are at high risk of residential placement; and youth under age 21 in residential care who have emotional and/or behavioral problems. The first section of the inventory is organized into ten general service components. These are categorized into services and programs designed specifically for target populations and other programs which may provide services to these children and their families. The second section covers residential services provided to children both within and outside the community.
