Abstract
THE STUDY, BASED ON EXPERIENCES OF THE ST. LOUIS MUNICIPAL JAIL, ANALYZES EXISTING INFORMATION FLOWS IN THE AREAS OF CUSTODY AND HUMAN SERVICES FUNCTIONS, RECOMMENDING CHANGES WHERE NEEDED. SPECIFIC OPERATIONS OF THESE FUNCTIONS ARE CONSIDERED, SUCH AS MONITORING OF INMATE SECURITY AND PROVIDING LEGAL CONTACT AND SERVICES, WITH CONSIDERATION OF INFORMATION FLOW IN THE FORMS OF OPERATIONAL DIRECTIVES AND ORGANIZATIONAL FEEDBACK FOR EACH.
