Abstract
THIS ARTICLE SUGGESTS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW FIELD IN CRIME PREVENTION. THE AREAS OF CONCERN INCLUDE THE PRECRIMINAL LIFE OF THE OFFENDER, THE FOCUS ON ROOT CAUSES OF CRIMINALITY, AND THE POSSIBILITIES FOR COOPERATION AMONG VARIOUS COMMUNITY RESOURCES.
