RESULTS OF SURVEY OF FEMALE CRIMINAL JUSTICE GRADUATES, EXAMINATION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE EDUCATION IN GEORGIA, AND RELATION OF RELEVANT LITERATURE ON DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD TO GEORGIA PROGRAMS.
Abstract
A SURVEY CONDUCTED DURING JUNE OF 1973 INDICATED THAT ONLY A FEW FEMALES HAD GRADUATED FROM CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROGRAMS IN GEORGIA, AND THAT MANY OF THEM ARE ENCOUNTERING DIFFICULTIES FINDING EMPLOYMENT IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE FIELD. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE OFFERED WITH REGARD TO ENHANCING STUDENT RECRUITMENT AND ALLEVIATING OBSTACLES TO EMPLOYMENT. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
