Abstract
THE AUTHOR STRESSES THE FLEXIBILITY WITH WHICH ILLEGAL BUSINESSMEN CAN ACT EITHER CHANGING THEIR TECHNIQUES WHEN NECESSARY OR ON OCCASION, THEIR FIELD OF ACTION. THE AUTHOR ARGUES FOR NEW LEGISLATION WHICH WOULD PERMIT BETTER INTER-REGIONAL COORDINATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT EFFORTS AND FOR THE TRAINING OF SPECIAL POLICE UNITS IN SKILLS THAT CAN EFFECTIVELY COPE WITH ECONOMIC CRIME. --IN GERMAN
