Tabulated criminal statistics provide an overview of the criminal cases heard during 1976 in the Netherlands' district courts, military courts, and courts at the Canton level.
Abstract
For the district level, tables show the total number of prosecutions, specific offenses, geographic distribution by Province, and cases of tax evasion. Data are also given on recidivism and the type of sentence imposed (e.g., imprisonment, fine, conditional sentence, additional penalty, and tax settlement). Offender data on those convicted include sex, age, and nationality. Also tabulated are criminal offenses tried by military courts. Cases decided at the Canton level are shown by type of offense, by offense according to jurisdictional location, and by imposed sentence. The bulk of the document consists of tabulated data.
