THE CONCLUSIONS ARE BASED ON BOTH STATISTICAL AND CASE STUDIES OF GIRLS PASSING THROUGH A LARGE LONDON CLASSIFYING APPROVED SCHOOL WHERE THE AUTHORS WERE ABLE TO STUDY THE GIRLS' AGE, INTELLIGENCE, PARENTS AND FAMILY BACKGROUND, AND PSYCHIATRIC RECORDS.
