Abstract
THIS REPORT HIGHLIGHTS THE CENTER'S MOST SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS, FAILURES, AND ACTIVITIES OVER A FOUR YEAR PERIOD AND REFERS THE READER TO OTHER MCJC REPORTS AND MONOGRAPHS DEALING WITH PARTICULAR ASPECTS OF POLK COUNTY'S CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM. INDIVIDUAL PROJECT DESIGNS AND RESULTS OF APPLICATIONS FOR PILOT CITY FUNDING ARE REVIEWED. DATA COLLECTION AND RESEARCH EFFORTS ARE DESCRIBED DURING BASELINE, MIDPROGRAM, AND LATER PHASES OF THE PROJECTS. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY MCJC IS ALSO REVIEWED.
