Abstract
Developed by the National Legal Aid and Defender Association (NLADA), this 2003-2004 directory presents a State-by-State listing of civil legal service offices and defender offices as well as legal support services. A section of this directory provides a State-by-State listing of the organizations that provide criminal representation to persons unable to retain private counsel, including public defender programs and legal services agencies that contain a public defender component. The directory also list various national and State legal services support contacts, alphabetically and by State. The last sections of the directory present a listing of State Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts programs, Pro Bono offices, American Bar Association Resources, and National and State Defender Resource organizations.
