Abstract
THE MANAGEMENT OF THE PROTYPE SYSTEM REST WITH THE METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT. WALES MAY SERVE AS AN AUTOMATIC MESSAGE SWITCHER, A CENTRAL REPOSITORY OF INFORMATION AND A SYSTEM TO IMPROVE MANPOWER AND RESOURCE ALLOCATION. WALES WILL BE INTERFACED DIRECTLY WITH NCIC.
