THE POSSIBLE CAUSAL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN DRUG ABUSE, ALCOHOL ABUSE, AND GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL VIOLENT BEHAVIOR.
Abstract
THE AUTHOR REVIEWS INFORMATION ON SUCH CASES AS COLLEGESTUDENT USE OF DRUGS, INCIDENCE OF VIOLENCE AT LARGE ROCK CONCERTS, VIOLENT BEHAVIOR OF INSTITUTIONALIZED JUVENILE DELINQUENTS, AND DRINKING PATTERNS OF RECIDIVISTS IN PRISONS. IT IS CONCLUDED THAT THERE IS LITTLE, IF ANY, CONNECTION BETWEEN DRINK, DRUGS, DELINQUENCY AND GROUP VIOLENCE IN EUROPE.
