              THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THIS TASK WAS TO ESTABLISH A METHODOLOGY FOR DETERMINING STANDARDIZED EFFECTIVENESS MEANS FOR CANDIDATE CHEMICAL LESS LETHAL WEAPONS.
          Abstract
              AN ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO ADAPT THE GENERAL METHODOLOGY DEVELOPED FOR THE EVALUATION OF KINETIC-ENERGY LESS LETHAL WEAPONS TO THE EVALUATION OF CANDIDATE CHEMICAL DEVICES. HOWEVER, THE EVALUATION MODEL DEVELOPED FOR BLUNT-TRAUMA LESS LETHAL WEAPONS IS NOT READILY ADAPTED TO CHEMICAL WEAPONS AND FURTHER MODEL DEVELOPMENT IS NECESSARY. IN ADDITION, CERTAIN BASIC INPUT DATA REQUIRED FOR EVALUATING CHEMICAL MUNITIONS ARE LACKING. APPENDIXES INCLUDE CHEMICAL AGENT DATA, A CLOUD TRAVEL MODEL, AND ESTIMATE OF PLACEMENT ACCURACY.
