Abstract
THE APPROACH ENVISIONED IN THIS STUDY WOULD REQUIRE INTERINSTITUTIONAL COOPERATION BETWEEN ALL DISCIPLINES CONCERNED WITH SOCIAL CONTROL IN ADDITION TO EFFORTS INVOLVING MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH ON CRIME PROBLEMS. OPERATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS MUST BE ESTABLISHED BETWEEN SCHOOLS OF LAW AND MEDICINE AND GRADUATE PROGRAMS OFFERING DEGREES THROUGH AND BEYOND THE DOCTORATE LEVEL.
