A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION, EQUIPMENT, TRANSMITTING LOCATIONS, AND AUXILIARY SYSTEMS OF THE STATE POLICE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK, EXPANDED TO FULFILL A GREATER COMMUNICATIONS NEED CREATED BY POLICE GROWTH.
Abstract
IN STUDYING WAYS TO EXPAND POLICE COMMUNICATIONS CAPABILITIES, IT WAS DECIDED THAT ADDITIONAL FREQUENCIES IN LOW BAND SHOULD BE OBTAINED, SINCE THE FORCE ALREADY HAD 43 TRANSMITTING LOCATIONS ON LOW BAND. SEVEN ADDITIONAL FREQUENCIES WERE FINALLY OBTAINED. THE PROGRESS MADE TO DATA IN DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING THE NEW SYSTEM IS OUTLINED.
