Abstract
INTERVENTION STRATEGIES INCLUDED THE DISTRIBUTION OF A NEWSLETTER ABOUT THE MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING PROJECT, BULLETIN BOARD DISPLAYS, AND AN ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR THE CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS. A SIGNIFICANT MEANS OF INCREASING SCORES ON AN INDEX OF POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARD MANPOWER TRAINING WAS THROUGH THE INTENSIVE DISSEMINATION OF ACCURATE INFORMATION ABOUT SUCH A TRAINING PROGRAM.
