Abstract
THIS DOCUMENT REPORTS ON THE NATIONAL STRATEGY FOR DELINQUENCY PREVENTION OF THE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND DELINQUENCY PREVENTION ADMINISTRATION (YDDPA), AND OUTLINES ITS OBJECTIVES AND PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION. WHILE THE EMPHASIS OF THE REPORT IS ON YDDPA ACTIVITIES, THE REPORT ALSO COVERS DELINQUENCY PREVENTION EFFORTS OF OTHER FEDERAL PROGRAMS. APPENDIXES INCLUDE STATE-BY-STATE LISTINGS OF GRANTS AWARDED BY YDDPA AND PROJECTS SPONSORED BY THE DEPARTMENTS OF JUSTICE, LABOR, AND HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, THE OFFICE OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY, THE PRESIDENT'S COUNCIL ON PHYSICAL FITNESS, AND OTHER AGENCIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, EDUCATION, AND WELFARE.
