Abstract
A REPORT WAS GIVEN BY THE SELECT COMMITTEE ON SMALL BUSINESS OF THE UNITED STATE SENATE WHOSE WORK IN MEASURING THE IMPACT OF CRIME ON SMALL BUSINESS AND IN IDENTIFYING MEASURES WHICH CAN BE TAKEN TO REDUCE SUCH CRIME STANDS AS A MODEL FOR WORK WHICH NEEDS TO BE UNDERTAKEN. TESTIMONY FROM OTHER INDIVIDUALS WAS HEARD ON THE SUCCESS OR LACK OF SUCCESS OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE PLANNING PROCESS, THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS, LAW ENFORCEMENT MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES, AND POLICE EDUCATION PROGRAMS. WITNESSES ALSO RESPONDED TO QUESTIONS ON COURT DELAY AND ON CAMPUS UNREST AND ITS CONTROL.
