Abstract
This guided training course presents a course map, question bank, resource guide, and technical support help menu options to aid the student users of this program. After a brief introduction, the narrator discusses the various ways that this course teaches law enforcement agencies to obtain law enforcement property. This pilot program is designed to enable course participants to learn how to obtain excess law enforcement equipment from Federal agencies at Department of Defense prices. Comprising three separate programs, this course teaches Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies how to obtain standardized police equipment in order to combat drug abuse and terrorism. Throughout this course, Web sites are provided so that the user may obtain additional information concerning the ways in which law enforcement officials may obtain excess police property from the Department of Defense. Slides of the various types of police equipment and police vehicles and boats available for purchase, are presented throughout this course. Fees associated with obtaining this excess equipment are presented on a State-by-State basis.
