ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF A SURVEY OF THE PLACEMENT AND UTILIZATION OF ALL MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY GRADUATES (SCHOOL OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE) BETWEEN 1938 AND 1972.
Abstract
ALSO DISCUSSED ARE THE GRADUATES' VIEWS TOWARD THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROGRAM AND SELECTED ISSUES RELATED TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE EDUCATION. TWO GENERAL NEEDS IDENTIFIED WERE A BLENDING OF BOTH PRACTICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE EDUCATION, AND AN INCREASED AWARENESS AND COMMITMENT AMONG CRIMINAL JUSTICE AGENCIES AND OFFICIALS WITH REGARD TO RECRUITMENT AND UTILIZATION OF COLLEGE GRADUATES.
