THE STATISTICS ARE PROVIDED IN SUCH CATEGORIES AS NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED PER WEEK, NUMBER OF PAID VACATIONS, ANNUAL SICK LEAVE, MONTHLY PENSION, MINIMUM YEARS OF SERVICE AND AGE REQUIRED FOR PENSION, AND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PAY. SALARY STATISTICS ARE GIVEN FOR MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM PAY FOR PATROL OFFICERS, DETECTIVES, SERGEANTS, LIEUTENANTS, CAPTAINS, AND CHIEFS. THE MATERIAL IS ARRANGED BY CITY ACCORDING TO POPULATION SIZE AND INFORMATION ON SALARIES AND BENEFITS OF STATE POLICE AND THE HIGHWAY PATROL IS LISTED SEPARATELY.
