Abstract
THE LARGE MAJORITY OF FORMER INMATES WENT TO THE GREATER BOSTON AREA, AND MOST OF THESE RETURNED TO A CITY CORE AREA. RELATIVELY FEW MEN WENT BACK TO COMMUNITIES OUTSIDE OF THE FIVE LARGE METROPOLITAN AREAS OF THE STATE.
