This 1980 Georgia Courts Directory encompasses four sections: U.S. courts, Georgia appellate courts, Georgia general and special jurisdiction courts, and judicial organizations and agencies.
Abstract
Members of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. district courts, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court compose the first section; the second section includes members of the Supreme Court of Georgia and of the Georgia Court of Appeals. Additional sections include listings of superior court judges, senior superior court judges, State court judges, juvenile court judges, probate court judges, special court judges, and small claims court judges. Also included are administrative district judges and assistants; district attorneys; State court solicitors; superior court clerks; State court clerks, circuit, trial, and juvenile court administrators; and official court reporters. Members of judicial organizations and agencies such the Board of Court Reporting, the Council of Superior Court Judges (Executive Committee), the Judicial Council of Georgia, and the Prosecuting Attorneys Council are also given. Each directory listing includes name, address, court, or organization, and telephone number. An alphabetical name index and an appendix listing county, circuit, and district courts are included. A map of the Georgia judicial districts is given.
