This book is a collection of papers that examine global environmental harm from a criminological perspective.
Abstract
The papers in this book are global, regional, and local in nature and examine issues of global environmental harm from a wide variety of geographical and critical perspectives. The 12 chapters of the book are divided into 3 major sections. Part I: Global Problems includes four chapters that provide the geographical and conceptual context for attempting to understand and map out the nature of global environmental harms. Part II: Specific Issues includes four chapters that provide a more detailed and in-depth study of specific environmental issues. Part III: Alternative Visions includes four chapters that provide different viewpoints for investigating and analyzing solutions to global environmental harm. Each chapter is written in the cultural and national style of the author and frames the issues from a particular location and political viewpoint. Figures, tables, and index
