Abstract
AS DEFINED BY CONFERENCE MEMBERS, THE GOALS OF ADULT BASIC EDUCATION IN CORRECTIONS ARE SELF-REALIZATION, SOCIAL PRODUCTIVITY, ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY, AND CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY. THE APPENDICES PROVIDE POSITION PAPERS FROM REPRESENTATIVES IN THE FIELDS OF SOCIAL SCIENCE, BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE, ECONOMY, BUSINESS, AND FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF THE OFFENDER. THE APPENDICES INCLUDE LISTINGS OF CONFERENCE PERSONNEL AND PARTICIPANTS, A PROGRAM OUTLINE, TASK GROUP SUMMARIES, AND A CONFERENCE EVAULATION.
