Abstract
The instructions emphasize that finding somewhere to live can take a lot of time and effort, so offenders should try to start looking well before release. They should be able to obtain help with this task while in prison. Individual sections explain how to obtain help inside prison, where to start looking, council housing, housing associations, housing projects and hostels, emergency accommodations for homeless persons, renting from private landlords, lodgings, and housing cooperatives. Other sections explain issues related to paying for housing and note the future possibility of purchasing a house. Photographs and lists and descriptions of organizations that provide help and advice and organizations that specialize in providing housing for ex-offenders
