The papers were presented at a conference that brought together victim researchers, biologically oriented investigators, sociologists, anthropologists, and mental health researchers. Topics included psychological and typological issues, social and cross-cultural issues, biological issues, treatment and prevention, victim issues, and social issues. Individual paper focused on types of child molesters and rapists, the relationship between child sexual abuse and adolescent sexual functioning in females, predictors of sexual aggression among male college students, organic treatments for male sexual offenders, the measurement of treatment effectiveness, relapse prevention, the effects of sexual abuse on children, legislative remedies, and ethical issues in sex offender treatment.
