Abstract
THE AUTHOR STATES THAT PRISON WORK PROGRAMS SHOULD HAVE TWO BASIC OBJECTIVES - PRODUCTION OF AN ECONOMICALLY VALUABLE PRODUCT OR SERVICE IN WHICH THE PRISONER CAN TAKE SOME PRIDE AND SATISFACTION, AND DEVELOPMENT OF MARKETABLE OCCUPATIONAL SKILLS BY PRISONERS.
