Abstract
THIS BOOK REVIEWS THE VARIOUS LEGAL AND OTHER PREVENTIVE MEASURES THAT HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY A NUMBER OF COUNTRIES, BOTH INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY, TO LIMIT AERIAL HIJACKING. THE VARIOUS ELEMENTS OF THE CRIME ARE ANALYZED AND THE LEGISLATIVE ENACTMENTS OF A NUMBER OF COUNTRIES (ARGENTINA, CANADA, CUBA, FRANCE, PORTUGAL, ROMANIA, ETC.) ARE DESCRIBED, AS WELL AS THE INTERNATIONAL TREATIES TO CONTROL SKYJACKING. THE TEXTS OF THE 1963 TOKYO, 1970 HAGUE, AND 1971 MONTREAL CONVENTIONS ON HIJACKING AND AERIAL PIRACY ARE APPENDED, ALONG WITH THOSE OF VARIOUS OTHER INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS. A SIX-PAGE BIBLIOGRAPHY AND AN AUTHOR INDEX ARE INCLUDED. --IN SPANISH
