THE TEST DESCRIBED CAN BE PERFORMED BY A LAYMAN OR A LABORATORY TECHNICIAN; IS EFFECTIVE FOR TINCTURES, HASH OIL, AND LEAF MATERIAL; AND GIVES RESULTS IN APPROXIMATELY 30 SECONDS.
Abstract
TWO ALTERNATIVE DYES HAVE BEEN FOUND TO HAVE THE SAME SPECIFICITY AS FAST BLUE B WHEN USED AS A FIELD TEST FOR CANNABIS. A NUMBER OF OTHER DIES HAVE BEEN FOUND YIELDING ALTERNATIVE COLORS TO FAST BLUE. OTHER MODIFICATIONS HAVE LED TO AN OVERALL IMPROVEMENT IN THE SPEED AND INTENSITY OF RESPONSE, WITHOUT LOSS OF SPECIFICITY.
