This article reviews in detail the levels of individual participation in a crime as outlined by the Colombian legal system.
Abstract
A distinction is made between active participation and authorship of a crime, between instigation and complicity, and between author and collaborator. Colombian law differentiates between the author as appointed author or the instigator who might not be the author. Legal system criteria used to distinguish these individuals and their particular involvement in a crime are outlined. 57 references
