ORGANIZATION AND MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT INTELLIGENCE UNIT.
Abstract
THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION, WHICH IS A VOLUNTARY CONFEDERATION OF POLICE AGENCIES, IS TO EXCHANGE INFORMATION ON ORGANIZED CRIME AND CERTAIN CRIMINALS. ITS MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES 220 AGENCIES IN THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AND THE VIRGIN ISLANDS.
