THE ARMY'S PROCEDURE FOR INVESTIGATING SUSPECTED CASES OF CHILD BATTERING IS EXPLAINED, AND RELATED TO EXISTING LAWS. THE MAJORITY OF THESE CRIMES APPEARED TO BE EMOTIONALLLY MOTIVATED.
